In systems such as DeNOx and DeSOx, which reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulphur oxides (SOx) emissions, static mixers ensure that the reducing agents - ammonia for NOx or water for Sox - are uniformly distributed within the exhaust gas. This maximises the efficiency of the SCR catalyst and reduces harmful emissions.

Fuel Optimisation

Another key application of static mixers is in fuel systems in which additives are blended into marine fuel to enhance its performance or reduce emissions. By ensuring that additives are thoroughly dispersed, static mixers optimise fuel combustion and reduce engine wear which, in turn, enhances fuel efficiency and reduces operating costs.
